The cost of the group lesson is currently £14 for each 30 minute lesson.
All lessons are booked on a "time slot" basis. This means that you agree to a weekly time slot and will take place on the time and day until this agreement is cancelled.
Once you have secured a slot this will remain yours until you choose to relinquish it.
Regular lessons will generally not take place during the school holidays. One to one or one to two lessons may take place during the holidays for an additional cost which can be discussed with Lesley
Payment for all lessons must be made in advance at the latest 2 weeks in advance. If payment is not received by the due date your time slot will become available and offered to other clients on the waiting list. Payment must be made for the whole term ( monthly in advance can be be arranged with Lesley.)
Once payment has been received these are not changeable.
We do not offer trial lessons but if you wish to cancel after the first lesson the term will be refunded in full.
In the even of non-attendance by you, for any reason there will be no refund available.
Please note that as the small group sessions are tailored to the specific needs of the group, it is not permissible to send another child in place of yours or anyway to sub-contract the slot.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances that we have to cancel the lesson you will receive a credit onto your account.
Please ensure your child showers and uses the toilet prior to entering the pool lesson. The teacher is unable to take any of the swimmers to the toilets during the course of the lesson. It is therefore highly preferable that a child waits until the end of the lesson, but if they cannot and they need to go then under no circumstances does any Teacher/Assistant assume any responsibility whatsoever for the child when they are away from the pool area. Please show your child where to go safely should they need to go to the toilet during the lesson.
Children are not to enter the swimming pool at the start of the lesson unless and until instructed to do so by the Teacher or Assistant.
Parents/Guardians must arrive promptly in good time to collect the child at the end of the lesson from poolside. Please ensure your child understands that they are NOT to leave the poolside area at the end of the lesson until collected by you. The next lesson will be starting and the focus of the Teacher/Assistant will be on the current swimmers. Similarly, you cannot leave your swimmer alone on poolside before they have been handed over to Teacher/Assistant at the start of the lesson.
Outdoor shoes must be removed in the waiting area before entering the changing rooms/pool area. NO footwear on poolside.
Parents/Guardians are able to watch within the pool area. There is a total ban on mobile phones in the changing area and on poolside. If you wish to use it please sit in the waiting area where there is a window to watch your child from. We ask that you are respectful of the teacher/assistant and do not distract your child whilst they are in the lesson.
At times when your child has reached a specific goal or achievement such as a badge/certificate you may wish to take a photo. If this is done, we ask that you ensure no other children are captured in any image.
Should you wish to terminate your time slot you will be required to give one calendar months notice in writing.
